Double click instead of control Q

Postby Arjen » 16 Feb 2011, 12:57

First of all congratulations for a very useful program & well done for making it widely available. After testing shortly, I have three comments:

1- using Control Q in the floating windows to go one level deeper does not "feel" logical. Why not just make it with double click?

2- To make it very useful for documenting formulas, consider having the option to "record" your steps, which creates a new sheet with Element, location, value and formula in colomns.

3- Within the 2007 ribbon/menu, give the option/integrate into the menu to explore active cell and go to last explored cell using the mouse. Not everybody prefers short cut keys.

Thanks again!

Hi Arjen.

Thanks for your comments.

I think the first one is especially good and also very easy to implement. So watch out for it in the next version.

With regardsm to point 3, there is a button on the Ribbon for exploring the active cell. Actually two of them - one under the Add-Ins tab and one under Formulas - Formula Auditing. There is no button for "going back" though. So may be we should create it as well.

Regards.
