Date format in QIF files

Postby Prashanth77 » 08 Dec 2009, 16:14

Hello Igor,

I think I might have discovered one more little bug. When I download QIF files from my bank (especially one bank in particular) and attempt to import the file, I get a small pop-up message asking me to select what "12/02/2009" means. I'm given 2 choices (1) 2 December 2009 (2) 12 February 2009. And I choose the option 1, 2 December 2009. Arixcel then imports the data using option 2, though I selected the radio button for option 1 and gives me an error message stating that the downloaded statement is out of date. I fool the program by going back and selecting option 2 and the data is downloaded without any error messages being generated. Is this a problem with Arixcel or a problem with the way the banks create the QIF files. When I download the OFX file I cannot recall running into this problem. Your thoughts?

Thanks!
Prashanth
