Version 1.30 is released

On 27 September 2009 we released a new version of Arixcel Accounts - 1.25. To update to the new version, simply download it and install on top of your existing installation.

What's new in 1.25:

1) Now you can "break down" a whole category rather than just a single income statement amount. Simply right-click on a category on the Income Statement or Budgets sheet and select 'Break Down'. This may be useful, for example, if you want to split one category into two - just break down the category and reallocate the required transactions to a new one.

2) Several minor bugs have been fixed.

Version 1.26 of Arixcel Accounts is a bug fixing release, the functionality is unchanged since 1.25.

The two most noticable problems that have been resolved:

1) A problem with reading OFX files generated by certain banks
2) A problem with adding new accounts on the Accounts sheet, if the selected cell was on any other existing accounts in the table.

Please update to the new version by downloading it and installing on top of your existing installation.

In version 1.27 we have fixed a problem which sometimes appeared when a QIF bank statement with ambiguous dates was loaded. We have also implemented some code improvements and optimisations. There have been no major changes in the functionality since version 1.25.

We have now released version 1.28 of Arixcel Accounts.

Due to recent Windows updates in some situations Arixcel Accounts caused Excel to display a message "Error in loading dll" and also resulted in instability in Excel 2007. Version 1.28 fixes this issue.

We have also improved the QIF import by adding functionality to automatically change the sign of loaded transactions. This option can be useful if your bank shows credit card purchases in positive numbers rather than negative as required by Arixcel Accounts. The improvement was suggested here.

Please download and install version 1.28 on top of your existing installation.

Version 1.29 of Arixcel Accounts has been released. It addresses some minor bugs.

In particular, in some rare situations an accounting spreadsheet might stop being recognised by Arixcel Accounts (the Active Book and Active Sheet menus did not highlight when it was open). This issue should now be resolved.

Please install the new version on top of your existing installation. Your licence status is always preserved.
